Mankind has made use of wind power since ancient times. Wind has powered boats and other seacraft for years. Further, the use of windmills to provide power for the accomplishment of agricultural tasks has contributed to the growth of civilization. This important renewable energy source is starting to be looked at again as a possible source of clean, cheap energy for years to come.
