| Rudolf Gonzales, born February 27,1955 in Manila,Philippines,is the oldest son of Rick Gonzalez, famed Filipino artist, and grandson of the late felix Gonzalez. He is also the cousin of Hawaii's foremost seascape artist,Ray Gonzalez Tabora. His style was developed from their influence as well as those of artists he admires, namely, Rembrandt, John Singer Sargent, Monet, and Sisley. A third generation artist from a family with a history of successful artists, Rudolf Gonzales produces tropical scenes with vibrant colors in an impressive blend of traditional and modern painting techniques. |
