Who Am I Anyway? font color> What do you want to do with your life? Who do you want to become? Are you doing the right things now to achieve the success you hope for in the future? All these questions require deep thought and consideration. You may be asking yourself "How do I know what I want out of life, if I don't know who I am?" You need to know yourself inside out, front and back, backwards and forwards...you get the picture. The key to understanding where your life is right now and where it is heading in the future is getting to know yourself. Who are you? It may seem like a silly question, but give it some thought. The following chart is to help you get to know you a little better. Target Who You Are What do you want to do with your life? This question alone could take days, months, even years to decide. We're here to help you along the way. The target below is a starting point to getting to know what you want out of life. To successfully fill out the chart below you need to look at yourself from the outside in. Describe yourself to yourself. 1. In the center write one good thing about yourself. Maybe it's your love for animals or your consideration for the feelings of those around you. Try to narrow it to one specific quality. We're going to refer to this portion as the "bull's eye". It will become the primary focus of this chart. 2. Around the "bull's eye" are the "rings of your life". Like rings of an elderly tree, these "rings of life" will give you knowledge that comes with growing old. They will help you learn things about you that you may not realize until after many years. They say that with age comes knowledge...well you'll be a step ahead of yourself. The rings list how the strength you listed in the middle helps improve the quality of your life. Be honest with yourself, don't write down answers that you feel are the best answers. Write down things about your life and your life alone. This target will be very useful for you throughout your life. When needed, just print this page again and fill out the chart as you change you goals. There is nothing wrong with changing your focus in life. Change can be intimidating, but often it proves to be useful. 3. The arrows that appear to be approaching the target's "bull's eye" represent areas that you feel you need to improve on. What are not as strong in and want to be? They are the goals that will eventually become reality. Fill these arrows out with goals that you see yourself accomplishing in the future. 4. After you have completed the target, go to the next page which are filled with quizzes that will evaluate what you have and what you need to improve on. Like the target, these quizzes will help you know yourself even further. GO TO QUIZZES Getting to know who you are can be difficult and often challenging. Once you feel that you know who you truly are the task of achieving success will become easier and less stressful. And let's face it, we all could reduce the levels of our stress in life. ![]() |
