Rocketry

Even before the airplane and the hot air balloon, there was another man-made device that could fly -- the rocket. Originally pioneered by the Chinese, rockets were some of the first man-made devices to leave the ground. Rockets are also what makes space travel possible today. In the following pages, we will discuss the history of rocketry and how it developed into what it is today.
