Is about 3 to 6 miles thick

These are more dense than continental plates
MANTLE
Where rock formation takes place
Deepest any one can get to physically
Magma is made up of iron and magnesium
It is slightly more dense than ocean plates
Layer is semi-solid
CORE
Inner core spins faster than Earth
Core provides electromagnetic fields
The inner core is solid and the outer core is liquid
Made up of iron and nickle
Is about the same size as the moon
The most dense
Hottest area
