Nina Roscher is currently Professor and Chair of the Department of Chemistry at The American University in Washington, DC.
After she earned her bachelor of Science, she worked at the Coca Cola Export Company in New York. She has taught
at many universities. She wrote a book in 1995 for the Career Services Division of the ACS. The book is called
Women Chemists. She also was a full-time academic administrator for
Rutgers University
and American University for fourteen years. She teaches basic research with her undergraduate and graduate students,
and she also studies the sociological and historic aspects of women and chemistry.
