I am a graduate student working toward my Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering at the Univ. of New Mexico. I have a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Univ. of NM and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Univ. of Akron, Akron, Ohio. (The Univ. of New Mexico is in Albuquerque, New Mexico.) Although I have had to face a great deal of frustration and discrimination (especially lately for medical reasons), I would be happy to do anything I can to act as a mentor for your web site and encourage girls and women to actively pursue the sciences.
