	Comments:	My mother MARY LOU ROGERS CURTIS was a pioneer in nuclear physics. She worked on the Manhattan Project and was a research physicist at Monsanto's Mound Laboratory in Miamisburg, Ohio. She published a number of article in scientific journals. She worked from the early 1940's and retired in the 1970's. A short biographical sketch can be found in Who's Who in America, 1976 and in American Men & Women in Science.

If anyone has information on Dr. Myra Logan, first woman to perform heart surgery and Dr. Roger Arliner Young (she worked with Dr. Ernest Just) I would much appreciate it. Dr. Logan died in 1977, she was an African American who did learn under Dr. Louis Wright at Harlem Hospital

Washington State Univ. at Spokane has a facility called CityLab where students and teachers are taught inquiry-based science through biotechnology. We are always looking for new curriculum ideas that help keep students' enthusiasm for science growing. I didn't have a chance to go through all your teacher's lessons, but I hope you will have a lot of science lessons for schools who don't have computers much less internet access.
