Dolly.

Dolly is a cloned sheep that was made by nuclear transplatiation. But what makes Dolly so special is that the cell of the nuclear transplantation came from the body, not a fertilized ovum.

Why did Rosslin Lab make "Dolly"

Rosslin didn't want to make human clones. Their final goal was to make milk for medical treatment. In the past they were tring to make milk by changing the DNA information in the cows. But this operation was difficult in many ways. But the main reason was that even when using a exelent gene you don't have any insuarce that the newborn will be "A good cow" In this operation luck was what made the cow "good" or "bad" So the scientists thought of a way to clone a "good cow" and make more "good cows" This is how the nuclear transplatiation cloning was thought of. This technology made it possible to make an exact copy of what every you would like. This technology has been tried in the past but had never suceeded. So Dolly was the first to been born by this technology.
