During the World War II, on April 1st 1945, the battle for Okinawa broke
out because of the landing of the Japanese and the U.S. Military to the
Okinawa island.
Many histories and testimonies were left by the battle for Okinawa. This
shows not only the violent at the battle, but also the tragedy the general
Okinawan people who got involved init.

The twelve thousand of the U.S. Military and the ninety thousand of the
Japanese Military died in the battle for Okinawa, but the tragedy is that
more than a hundred thousand non-combatants died. Some were killed by the
American bombing, but many people were killed by the Japanese Military's
group suicide, spy suspicion and from hunger.
Survivor's still keeps silence. It probably means that the The Battle for
Okinawa was too tragic.
