On April 1st, 1945, the U.S. Military landed. They were of about
1400 ships, 183,000 soldiers, and 540,000 sub soldiers. On the other
hand, Japanese were of 120,000 soldiers. They couldn't be compared
to America, militaries could do nothing, but run away from the cannonballs
falling cats and dogs called "iron tempest".

Air-raids, fire from ships, battle, all was too cruel, but the most
tragic attack was "riding horse attack". This was to kill
the Okinawa people hidden in Gama, a cave in Okinawa language, by
boring a hole in the ceiling, pouring oil, and then firing it, or
exploding the Gama itself.
