Camp Hansen is the largest training range in Okinawa where live firing exercises are conducted. Because brush fires occur within the facility and shells fall outside the facility inadvertently, it is one of the most dangerous facilities on Okinawa. Therefore, it creates anxiety among the residents in the surrounding area. In the front of the photograph is the heart of Kin village. In the center of the facility are barracks, a hospital, bank, and entertainment facilities.
