The Aha Training Area is located in the upstream region of Aha river. It is
a temporary facility agreed under Article 2 paragraph 4(b) of the United States
and Japan Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA). The area is a forested region and
is also surrounded by the Northern Training Area.
