Take a minute to read about the people who created Chemweb 2000:

Hi there! Thanks for visiting Chemweb 2000. Rust asked me to write a little about me for the bios page, so here goes. My name is really Michael Lee, but all my friends call me flea. I live in Birmingham, Alabama where I just graduated from the Alabama School of Fine Arts. I'm heading to Auburn University in the fall to start college. As for the other things I do besides work on Thinkquest I am an Eagle Scout, a member of Huffman Presbyterian Church, and a Painter.

Hello there, I am Rust Felix, member of Chemweb 2000 (the biggest, baddest, and definitely coolest educational chemistry website on the net). This is my little portion of the website that I don't have to devote to chemistry. Next year I will start college at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and major in mechanical engineering. Right now I work for UAB as the webmaster of the school of a Engineering, and also assist with the UAB Biomedical Engineering website. Right now, computers and music comprise 80% of my waking hours. My favorite bands are Air, Beck, & the Minutemen. I am a guitar enthusiast, and play guitar in a band with another Chemweb 2000 member, Daniel Faircloth. All the members of Chemweb 2000 went to/are still going to the Alabama School of Fine Arts Math & Science Program. I would like to give shoutouts to all the LHS crew (you know who you are) and all the fine folks over at BME for allowing us to use their facilities. Thanks to the family for understanding when I came in at 1 am from working on html.

Hi, I am Daniel Faircloth, co-author of Chemweb 2000. I go to the Alabama School of Fine Arts where I major in Math and Science. When I'm not hacking away at html and working on the pretty graphics that comprise our web site, I love to jam on the old guitar with Rust or work on some other of the 3,000 or so computer projects I'm working on right now. I want to thank my folks and friends for understanding when I didn't see them for weeks at a time because of working on the web site.
