Decorating aircraft has become a growing trend. Everything from sports teams to advertising campaigns, aircraft has been popular medium. Sports teams for a long time have been a multimillion dollar business. With games to play all over the country, teams need a way to get there, and thus they have begun purchasing their own aircraft.

America West is responsible for flying The Phoenix Suns on this Boeing 757 around to their destinations. On board, the headrest covers of all the seat are embroidered with the names of the players assigned to that seat.

This Airbus 320 was presented on December 4, 1995 to symbolize Air Canada being the official carrier of The Toronto Raptors.

Swissair Joined With McDonald's To Paint This DC-9.

This Airbus 320 was decorated by Ansett Australia to advertise the upcoming Olympics in Sydney, Australia.

The tenth SAAB 2000 in Crossair's fleet was painted with The Phantom of the Opera design to indicate Crossair's sponsorship of the show.

America West decorated one of its 757's in a paint scheme to signify their homestate of Arizona. This design was derived from the flag of the state. This picture was appropriately taken in Phoenix, Arizona.

It is obvious that airplanes are becoming a valuable medium to advertise on. More and more airplanes are being decorated. Recently, British Airways released a series of aircraft with their tails painted with the artwork of various artists from each of the routes that the airline fly's.
