Examples of Whiteaker Service
Learning
At this site, you will be able to view pictures of Whiteaker
students in action while they participate in Service Learning. Some
pictures may have come from previous newspaper publications featuring
Service Learning. Other pictures are photographs taken by the Whiteaker
students. Below are the pictures and a description of each Service
Learning project.
A pile of clothing, books, and other school supplies are in a classroom and ready to be sent to kids in Belize.
A Whiteaker student helps a P.E. class at Clear Lake Elementary in Keizer,
Oregon.
A retired citizen at the Keizer Retirement Center receives a lap blanket made by a Whiteaker Home Ec student.
Whiteaker students are
posting flyers for a book collection of books of a lower reading level
for younger kids.
