Recommended video settings


Video Settings
The versions were designed so that they would look basically the same no matter what resolution you are using(just a bit smaller). So viewing this site in a higher resolution will not make that much of a difference to the way the site looks.

But one thing that does make the site look much better is the amount of colors that you view it in(as with almost sites). Viewing the site with more than 256 makes the photographic images in the tour much clearer and easier to understand. But dont think that it is mandatory to view the site in more that 256 colors, the site was designed so that it would be visually pleasing in 256 colors also, that is why many of the graphics are simple and not complicated with textures and special effects.

Monitor settings
For optimal viewing it is recommended that you change your monitor settings so that your brightness is at 50% and your contrast is at 100%. If you do not already know the symbols are for each they are directly below.

Brightness - 50%

Contrast - 100%

These settings can be changed on your monitor by little knobs above or below where you see the above symbols or through an electronic menu programmed into the monitor.
