Thanks to the
Delta Works tourism has increased. Near the dams great holiday parks were built. Many
tourist centers and attractions were commercialized. For example WaterLand Neeltje Jans
has a permanent exhibition about the Oosterschelde-dam and an overview of all the Delta
Works.Tourism is good for the economy in Zeeland. There is
enough employment and many people came to Zeeland for a job.
On the other hand there is no wildlife in Zeeland. All the
‘nature’ there is artificial. But small pieces of pure nature can survive and
grow...
