The text-adventure Xyzzy: An interactive introduction to the world of adventure gaming is especially made by the authors of this website for users who have never played a text-adventure before.
User-uploaded adventures can be played and downloaded at the Uploaded Adventures page.
Note that because of
applet restrictions, the SAVE and RESTORE options may not
function.
Because of a bug in the
applet, the program may freeze, crash or otherwise malfunction if a
verb is entered without a prefic (i.e. look at may cause
problems, while look at door is ok).
