In most decades of the 20th century some of the more distinct styles are found in youth pop culture, the 90's are no different. In fact it is often hard to dicern the mainstream from youth trends. In the latter part of the century there has been a change of focus for the origins of fashions. Especially in the 90's styles have jumped from the streets to the runways, rather than the more traditional filter down effect.
