Whenever I think back remembering my days in Warsawa, I always think of food, food and food. Polsih people are known for their meals. They have 4 meals a day. In the morning they have early breakfast then light snack for second breakfast. After work they have lunch and right before go to bed they have small supper. In no time, I gained a couple of kilograms during my stay in Warsawa. Most food that was served was really filling. They had hearty and filling thick soup and sauces with lots of meat. My favourite dish is barszc which is beetroot soup. It's really delicious.
In Warsawa I stayed with a host family. They only have one kid about my age. So it made verything easier because I went to the same school as the son. He introduced me to his friends, gave me the grand tour around the school and the city. We hung out with his friends most of the time. This helped me understanding more of the language and the culture. I only stayed for one year in Poland but I really liked it. I learned more about life.
