I dissagree. I am a Catholic. I have never been taught that
God is merely "out there." He is everywhere. There is nowhere
that you could travel to and not be in the presence of God. The
most important place for him to be, however, is our hearts. If
this is your only reason for believing that religion is a crutch
than the Catholic Church is not a crutch.
