SCHOLARSHIP. This scholarship, sponsored by the Oncology Nursing Foundation, awards $36,000 to eighteen applicants, with a maximum of $2000 awarded per student. There is an application fee of five dollars. The application deadline is February 1, and the notification deadline is March 15. Applicants must demonstrate character, leadership, service commitment to others, and academic achievement. An interview, transcript, personal essay, and recommendations are required of all applicants, and they must be planning to study nursing or oncology.
Applicants must be licensed registered nurses and must be applying to an oncology nursing degree program at a NIN accredited school.
