SCHOLARSHIP. These scholarships, funded by the National Stone Association, award a maximum of $2500 to successful applicants, of which there are eight. $20,000 in scholarship money is annually distributed to applicants. The application deadline is May 1, and the notification deadline is June 1. Applicants must demonstrate character, leadership, seriousness of purpose, service commitment to others, and academic achievement. Applicants must submit a personal essay and recommendations, and must be planning on studying engineering.
