SCHOLARSHIP. This scholarship, sponsored by the American Ground Water Trust, awards $2000 worth of money to worthy students intending to study Engineering, environmental, Geology or earth sciences. Two awards are typically presented to applicants, with their monetary value ranging from $1000 to $2000. The applicants are evaluated on their high school transcript, personal essay, recommendations from teachers, leadership, seriousness of purpose, and service commitment to others. Applications are due by June 1, and applicants will be notified of their status on August 1.
