RESEARCH. Argonne National Laboratory offers a Student Research Participation Program (SRP) for college students who have completed their sophomore year. Participants work on research projects with staff scientists in biology, environmental science, materials science, ceramics, chemistry, physics, engineering, computer science, mathematics, and reactor and energy technologies. The students work for eleven weeks and receive $250 per week. Students who apply must have at least a 3.0 GPA. The application deadline is February 9.
