Argonne National Laboratory SIRT

RESEARCH. Argonne National Laboratory offers a research program entitled The Student Interdisciplinary Research Training (SIRT). This program offers a hands-on educational training experience designed to provide college freshmen and sophomores with the opportunity to learn pervasive interdisciplinary research techniques, within the training areas of biotechnology, engineering, cell culture, computer information technology, cyberspace and Internet navigation, and much more. The program runs for ten weeks and provides a stipend of $250 per week. The application deadline is March 1.
