The Orbit of the Moon

What you need:
* Black paper
* Glue
* Poster Board
* Scissors
* Aluminum foil
* Compass
* Thick black pen
* Binoculars (optional)
* Ruler

Instructions:
Step 1: Using the thick black pen and ruler, draw up a chart that has seven rows across, one for the days of the week, and five columns down. Number each box on the chart from 1 to 29.

Step 2: Draw and cut out 29 black circles and paste them into the numbered boxes on the poster board...be ready to start recording the date and the moon’s apperance in Box 1

Step 3: Every night cut out the shape of the moon out of the aluminum foil and paste it over the black cirlces in the correct box. If you can not see the moon for any reason leave that box blank and go to the next box.
