Pandora
Pandora was a beautiful but silly woman modeled by Hephasestus in likeness of Aphrodite. Into her mind, Zeus put unquenchable curiosity. Zeus then gave Pandora a closed box and told her never to open it. Hermes took Pandora down to earth, and gave her hand to Epimetheus. Pandora was not happy living on earth for she didn't know what was in the box that Zeus had given her. Soon her curiosity got the better of her and she opened the box. Out flew hate, jealousy, greed and envy, all the evil that had been unknown to humans until then. Horrified, she clapped the lid in just in time before hope flew away. The evils changed humans into wicked people who murdered, lied, and stole. Zeus decided to drown out everything on earth with a flood.
