Help Overview

The layout of Project AI was designed to provide the maximum amount of functionality with a futuristic computer-look and feel to it.  Playing around with buttons is a good way to quickly grasp the interface's functions, but here is a quick help for those who are not so inclined to play around.

Navigation

There are several ways to access Project AI.

In the Java Version, you will need a java-enabled web browser to possess the full functionality of this web-site.
The No Java Version is a graphics-only mode in which a graphics-enabled web-browser would facilitate on screen navigation.
The Text-Only Version is the simplest and fastest ways to view the information of Project AI without all the pictorial "fluff."
Use the navigation buttons on the leftt to access the main topics concerning AI.   In the Java version, hovering the mouse over certain buttons will bring up sub-topics of that button.  Click on those titles will lead you directly to those pages.
After reaching the end of some pages, you may want to follow up on related sub-topics.  Those buttons are furnished right at the end of the text for your convenience.  This applies to Java and No Java versions only.
In Java versions, you can also access the main topics through a drop-down box.
In some pages, you may need to click on your web browser's "back"/"<--" button when instructed to do so to return to the last previous page viewed.
Text menu buttons below the section's title are quick jumps to different sections in a page.

Hypertext Links

Some words in a passage may be colored differently other than orange like this(an unvisited link) or like this(a visited link).  Those words are hypertext links to either a different part of the web-site that relates to it and/or it will lead you to a definition of that word in the glossary page.
Hypertext links are provided in parethentical citations to allow quick follow information on the source cited in the  reources page.

Remember, if you need help again regarding accessing this site, the hypertext help is always available via the top navigation bar.
