I have offered to donate an egg to my sister-in-law (married to my brother) who is unable to produce her own eggs. My egg would be mixed with her brother's sperm and artificially inseminated into her to carry.
My question is wouldn't this child be genetically their child. Don't I carry the same gene pool as my brother and her brother carries her gene pool?
