Hello,
I am currently writing a novel and needed information
regarding DNA, genes, etc. While I found this site very
helpful and with a lot of basic information, I am
unable to locate anything about HOW a SPECIFIC gene is
discovered. HOW was the gene for breast cancer found?
What are the basic steps?
I realize this procedure is most probably quite
complicated, but I would appreciate any help anyone could
give- either the basic steps or a site I could go to.
