Hi, I need you to solve a debate for me. On Dateline tonight they were talking about genetics, specifically Mendel's Law. I thought that I heard them say that if a mother and a father both had brown eyes that their children would also have brown eyes. It is the dominant gene. My friend says no, not always. If there is a blue eyed relative that they can have a blue eyed child. I need to know who was right, or if I was just hearing things! On the show they referred to a nursing book that supposedly stated that Mendel's Law said what I thought I heard! Thanks!
