How to Navigate
When you click on the timeline link below, a new browser window will open with the first timeline section in it. To get back to this page, just use the taskbar (Win95) or press ALT TAB (Windows 3.1). We've taken a new approach: instead of scrolling down, scroll sideways! There is a sidebar (like the one to the left) at the beginning and end of each timeline page, with links to the other Times sections. Clicking on hyperlinks within the timeline itself will lead to pop-up windows with longer, more detailed articles.
