Chinese Floods

Ever notice that world events never get media coverage in North America unless they affect us directly. A few lawn chairs get blown around by Hurricane Bonnie, and it gets top story on the evening news. But for the last three months floods have been ravaging in China, leaving millions homeless, and it rarely gets 30 seconds coverage on newscasts. How about the famine in North Korea, which could probably be averted if it wasn't for world leaders putting politics over human decency. We should be ashamed for ignoring such serious global situations. There are dozens of others.
