Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Germany Between 6 a.m. - 9 a.m., usually tea, coffe or a fruit juice. Toast with marmalade/jam or some fruit. Between 12 noon - 2 p.m., normally a big, warm meal. Kids in school have lunch in their school cafeterias. Between 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., sometimes a small warm meal, but mostly cold cuts with bread or a soup.
Norway Between 7am and 8 am. 
Open sandwiches or cereals. Milk, coffee, juice or tea.
Between 11am and 1 pm. Usually a 30 minutes lunch break. 
Many  bring packed lunch to school or work. Open sandwiches.   Milk, tea, juice, or coffee. Often fruit.
Between 4pm and 6pm. Lasts about 15 minutes. The only warm meal a day.
The U.S. People eat whenever they wake up.eggs, bacon, toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, donuts, waffles, pancakes, yogurt or fruit.  Milk, juice, tea or coffee Between 11 am and 2pm. Schools: generally a 30 min. break.Usually sandwiches, soup, salad bars, fruit and yogurt is eaten,but some people eat the largest meal of the day at this time.  Schools serve hot lunches as well as cold.  Juice, milk or soda usually go with lunch. Between 4:30p.m.and  7:30p.m. Lasts about 20 to 30min. Hot meal such as steak, potatoes, vegetables, noodles,chicken, fish or roasts are served. (Frozen meals, eating out, and pizza have become common for many Americans.)  Many American families now do not eat together due to varied schedules of the famliy members. 
 
The times given here are times when many people in a culture have their meals, but of course, as always in culture, these are not absolute times and it is possible to find many differences.
