Jane Alexander: By the end of the day you're going to need us (1985) This is one of a series of works Alexander has created placing some or all of her Butcher Boys sculptures in settings taken from postcards and images from the media. Like the others, this one is atmospheric and grainy in black and white. The figures seem to gain a documented reality and raise questions about the validity of photographed documentation, where images can easily be altered.
