Alex Lee, 15 Born in the quiet town of Hartford, Connecticut, I moved down to Manassass, Virginia at the age of one and then moved to Herndon, Virginia at the age of 3. My final move as of now was at the age of 5 when I became a residence of Chantilly, Virginia for over ten years. Currently, I am going to become a sophomore in Chantilly High. As for some more personal information, my favorite color is red, blood red. During the summer and winter, I enjoy being on the swim team to work out and be with my friends. I also take pleasure in basketball and soccer are ways that I release any built up stress, and an occasional video game on my Nintendo 64 or computer. Oh, I also ski and can even come down double black diamonds! Took a long time and a lot of falls, but it certainly is worth it! Practicing on my viola and violin have been part of my life for 6 years now. I've enjoyed playing since I was in fourth grade, and have had private lessons for that long. In school, I am going to be in the symphonic orchestra. I annually participate in the Senior District Orchestra, and was in the Junior Regional Orchestra in 8th grade. I also enjoy dancing, since I was in my school show choir in 8th grade as well as watch plays. As for future plans, I hope to go to UVA and major in biology or some other area which deals with the environment. Once I graduate, you can probably guess that I plan to work in an environmental firm such as the EPA, Green Peace, etc. With luck, I will be able to fix that hole in the Ozone Layer without causing more pollution. I certainly can't wait to see what the future has in store.
Katrina Chan, 14 Hi! My name is Katrina, and I am Chinese. I live in Vienna, Virginia and have lived here all my life. During this school year, I will be a sophomore at James Madison High School. I hope to attend University of Virginia (UVA) or Virginia Tech after I complete my high school education. My favorite pastimes include, having fun with my friends, listening to music, singing karaoke, playing sports, and doing anything that's fun. I play field hockey for my school. I also enjoy skiing, playing basketball, snorkeling, playing pool, dancing, and swimming. I listen to rap, R&B, old school, slow jams, and DC gogo. I really don't have a clue as to what career I plan to pursue, although many people give me ideas. My goal in life is to be successful and have fun while I'm doing that. Right now I'm just reviewing all possible decisions for my future. I guess that's it for my bio. Remember, "sky's the limit."
