I'd like to jump in here. If there are no absolute truths, then no one can be "right" about anything because there is no "right" (and consequently, no "wrong"). If a person says there is absolute truth, he is neither right nor wrong, because there is no basis to measure the correctness of his assertion. If he says that there is no such thing as absolute truth (as I'm saying now), again I can neither be proven right nor wrong (so long as I'm right). So now this philosophy has been broken down to a matter of faith. If you believe in a system where there is no basis to measure the correctness of the system, the only way you can live by it is through faith. This is not necessarily what I believe, I'm just trying to expand on what's been said.
