I must admit this is a valid arguement; In this regard, you are taking the view of the absolute cynic, one who doubts the existence of others or really of anything. There is nothing wrong with that... the problem lies with the way Keith outlined his idea. Once the reasoning and EVIDENCE was set, then I could determine what the idea was...
There is someting to be said about this philosophy... it cannot be disproven, but it cannot be PROVEN either. Due to this, it is a weak argument, but valid nonetheless. So...
To those who like this idea, check out absolute cynicsm. Only one philosopher I am aware of believed in this philosophy, or was a true cynic, but he didn't write his ideas down, because he didn't believe the pen and paper truly existed!! :-) Take care and feel free to post again...
