i agree with you that if someone is going to follow God it's got to be because they love Him. but here's something: you said that God is not a philosophy. i guess that is true. philosophy asks all the questions, but God has all the answers. i don't have all the answers, therefore i still question things. i wonder about a lot of stuff, i think a lot, and i like philosophy. yet i believe in God. it's not a contradiction because i ask the questions and He has the answers, regardless if He chooses to share them with me or not.
