Humanities probing into an understanding of just
what they are is what leads them to search for the
qualities they most aspire to as a species.
Religion is the formation of these qualities into
one, or many beings.
Would an ant aspire towards human values?
I think not. An ants view of got would be full of
the most highly esteemed ant values.
The whole idea of god must be free of humanities
touch (is this possible) I suppose free of
humanities judgement.
This is much bigger than a christian ideal of
man being made in god's image, although this
is a clever, end of argument, answer.
