You know, this is really cheesy: "[Mother Teresa] did nothing to make the world a better place in any lasting sense." Oh, and I suppose you have? First, I am completely aware of the problems of population growth which is due to several problems. But the last thing I would do would bash someone who at least *tried* to end suffering. High birth rates are due to several reasons. Just because Mother Teresa wasn't handing out condoms doesn't mean she was hardly a saint. Problem: people are DYING. Choice A) Gee, let's criticize Mother Teresa for not handing out condoms. Choice B) Praise Mother Teresa for her effort to end suffering. What is the larger problem? Death and suffering now or severe overpopulation in the future? Who is to make that call? Soloman, would you deny a suffering child in front of you food to tell him/her: "I'm sorry, I must watch you die because your nation is overpopulated." ????? Just curious.
