I don't understand how you can choose God and the bible, just because it means a bad time in hell. Maybe you should believe just because. Just because you feel the faith, or because you love what God has given you. God is not a philosophy--philosophy asks too many questions, and is always skeptical. If you choose to believe in God, do it not because it is logical or beneficial, but because you want to serve God because you love God.
