Truth: Is the bible a reliable basis for truth? Well, good question. I do have an answer though. YES. I can logically back up my statements with all kinds of scientific proofs and logical reasoning; but if that's what it takes to convince you than you're missing the whole point.
I could spend time to lay down all kinds of evidence but it would be a waste of my time. "The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4" I think, therefore, I...find the truth. It is man's nature to search for truth. Each man searches in his own way and because we can reason we explain our way to others through logic. However, although logic exists for most things in our universe, it does not begin to explain many things. There is a logical approach to explaim truth found in the bible which is God, but many choose not to see it. That's not the point at all. If I could convince you to believe in something someone else who is wiser could just as easily convince you out of it. That is why I mentioned a short sentence at the end of my last document.
It is the life changing experience of finding the truth that will never be able to be changed, duplicated, or out done. "Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. John 8:32" "Let the wise listen and add to their learning. Proverbs 1:5"
Therefore, those who have eyes, let them read. Truth is found outside oneself. Search not for truth within but find truth in God. "He who trusts in himself is a fool. Proverbs 28:26" The way lies before you, but the decision is up to you. What are you missing out on?

--As for my name (Simple Wiseman). The wordplay may confuse you, but let me enlighten you. "The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. Psalms 19:7" Wisdom at its finest does not need to come in a complicated manner but rather in a simplistic form. Finding wisdom, likewise, needs not be difficult but is simple. Further implications of hte name -- The wisdom given me is laid out in simplicity.

May God open the eyes of your heart to the truth.
