The truth you ackowledge comes from a somewhat questionable source , that is ,the bible. The 4 gospels were most likely written 35-70 years after jesus` death. Much of the new testament was transmitted by an oral tradition whose accuracy is unreliable. Since none of the gospel writers knew jesus directly , their accounts are , at best secondhand and thirdhand testimony. Hardly a basis for the truth or maybe it`s an insatiable for beleif.
