Seen here: Stacks of
zip disks store backup files for the Girlsite computers - if anything
happens to a file or to a computer with important project info, it
has to be backed up! The Girlsite microphone, on the left, is used
for interviews on and off camera. On the right, books for researching
information for the stories.
Above two of the
computers, the bulletin board has a lot of important information for
the Girlsite staff to see. Sketches and design layout are regularly
pinned up, as well as memos to eachother.
Rockin' News Chick Nico Juber shows off some
of Girlsite's technology - pictured here is a digital camera in
action. A digital camera acts just like a regular camera - except the
photographs are stored digitally, not captured on negatives and
developed on paper. The cameras link up to the computers and upload
the photographs.
Above is a picture of a scanner, which scans
pictures and transfers them onto the computers. This is helpful for
loading in drawings, photographs and more.
