The Theory of Evolution claims to have answered the
puzzling questions of how life began, and also how we arrived at
this point in time. Despite this though, it must be noted
that it does not explain the beginning of the universe.
Evolutionary theory has also provided the building blocks for many
scientific and medical discoveries. Modern Biology bases
itself on the ideas of evolution and its counterparts of Genetics
and Selection.
Evolution is not accepted by everyone, although it is taught in
schools around the world. Charles Darwin brought the idea of
evolution to the world’s attention in the 19th century, and,
since then, it has been discussed by people everywhere and has
shaken up both scientific ideas and religious beliefs.
Evolution, as we have presented it to you is a theory, not a
fact. Be sure to examine our Creation Stories. for other explanations
on how life on the planet may have formed.
