Advanced Typing - Welcome!

Welcome to the advanced typing portion of the "Computer Circus" computer literacy site. There are really only five rules to becoming an A+ Typist. Since you have payed such an exhorbitant price to take this course I will reveal them to you this one time only. Here they are, in sequential order:
1. Learn the theory
2. practice
3. practice
4. practice
5. practice
If you need help with rule number 1 you may be in the wrong place. There is a portion of this site titled "typing basics" that may suite you better. For the rest of you, lets dig in. You may have been expecting to learn some great new novel ways to typing success when you entered this site. Well, as soon as I find one I'll be sure and post it, but the best way I know of to improve your typing skill is good old practice. That means that nearly everything you do on your computer can be a chance to improve your typing skill. There are a few bad habbits that you are going to want to watch out for though. The primary one is looking at your keyboard while you type. While this may seem inocent enough at first it can get you into a lot of trouble as you try to get that typing speed to soar. Well, I said that I would help you practice and I meant it. Follow the link below to check out a cool typing test program that gives you 17 different timed typing tests.
