| The August issue of National Geographic contains a pictorial of Titanic pictures as well as a brief history of the Titanic tragedy. The pictures of the Titanic have been altered so that they can be seen in 3-d. The August 9, 1998 edition of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution features an article on the Titanic. The article details the sinking of the ship, as well as recent expeditions to the Titanic. The Discovery Channel made history on August 16, 1998 when, for the first time, they aired live footage from the Titanic. The show was broadcast live as an expedition was in progress. The Art and Entertainment network, commonly known as "A & E," featured a three part series on all aspects of the Titanic. The documentary includes sections on the sinking of the Titanic, the rediscovery, the legacy of the ship, and more. |
